Jack A. Rameson III is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law as certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization devoting the majority of his practice to the areas of estate planning, trust law and probate law. A graduate of California State University at Northridge (B.S. in Business Administration), Mr. Rameson received his Juris Doctorate cum laude from Southwestern University School of Law in 1973.
Mr. Rameson has an "AV" rating from Martindale-Hubbell as set forth in their Directory of Attorneys. Mr. Rameson is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association having served on the Trusts and Estates Section Executive Committee where he was elected Chair for the fiscal year 1993-1994. Mr. Rameson was again elected a member of the Executive Committee of the Trusts and Estate Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. Mr. Rameson is also a member of the San Fernando Valley Bar Association where he was Chair of the Probate Section years ago and served on its Board of Trustees. Mr. Rameson is also a member of the State Bar of California and the Christian Legal Society. Mr. Rameson has lectured to/for various groups including, but not limited to, CEB (Continuing Education of the Bar), the National Business Institute continuing education seminar for attorneys and accountants, Christian Legal Society National Convention seminar breakout, etc.
Mr. Rameson has served as a Court appointed referee and amicus counsel and as a mediator in probate, trust, conservatorship and related matters. Mr. Rameson has received mediation training from the Dispute Resolution Services of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and from the Center for Conflict Resolution put on by persons from the Pepperdine Law School mediation program. In years past, Mr. Rameson has served as an Arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association and as a Judge Pro Tem in small claims matters.
Mr. Rameson has served as a mediator in a number of cases. Mr. Rameson has been fortunate enough to successfully resolve approximately 88% of the cases mediated by him (although Mr. Rameson feels that a great deal of the credit belongs to the counsel and parties involved).
