Charles Stanton Tigerman
The firm was founded in 1978 by Victor L. Mindlin and Charles S. Tigerman. Historically, the firm has maintained expertise in three distinct areas of practice:
* Acquisition and sale of businesses
* Intellectual property law
* Estate planning, probate, and trust administration

Charles S. Tigerman and the firm are "of counsel" to the firm of Greenberg & Bass LLP. The Greenberg firm is a thirteen lawyer firm which practices in the areas of complex business transactions and insolvency- related matters. Litigation matters of Mindlin and Tigerman clients are referred to Greenberg & Bass, when appropriate. Estate planning needs of Greenberg & Bass clients are referred to this firm, as are projects involving intellectual property issues. The relationship between the two firms provides additional depth of resources for the clients of both firms.

Over the course of the years, Charles S. Tigerman has gained a reputation and experience in the arbitration and mediation of computer, software, and other technology based disputes. A summary of selected arbitration cases is on the web site. Arbitration matters have ranged in size from $50,000 to $14,000,000 in dispute. Tens of cases have been heard since 1984, some as sole arbitrator or mediator, and others as a part of a three-person panel. In recent months, the types of cases have expanded to include multi-media partnering disputes, video game production disputes, and other new media subjects.
