Educated at California State University Northridge (B.A. 1964) and Whittier College (J.D. 1968), he is a member of the California Applicants' Attorneys Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association, Southeast Bar Association, and the California State Bar. He is certified as a workers' compensation specialist by the California State Bar (1976 to present). He has argued workers' compensation matters before the California Courts of Appeal and the California Supreme Court. He has practiced for almost thirty years representing workers in the state of California.
